Vice City Nights — An ’80s Classic Hip-Hop Experience


Welcome to Vice City Nights, where neon lights, palm trees, old-school beats, and after-dark energy transform The Shaded Lantern into a seductive throwback to the hottest nights of the ’80s.

Step into a world drenched in Miami cyan, electric pink, and deep purple, inspired by the era of beachfront nightlife, exotic cars, gold chains, boom boxes, oversized shades, and legendary hip-hop. 


This isn’t just an ’80s party, it’s a lifestyle night with a Vice City attitude.

Expect classic ’80s hip-hop and party anthems, a sexy neon-club atmosphere, and a crowd ready to swing, socialize, and turn up the heat. Break out the gold, leather, tracksuits, crop tops, body suits, Miami prints, and retro clubwear. 

Dressing for the theme isn’t required, but this is definitely the night to do it.

House rules

  1. Consent Is Mandatory — Consent must be clear, enthusiastic, informed, and freely given. No means no. Hesitation means stop and ask. Consent may be withdrawn at any time. Never assume that flirting, conversation, clothing, nudity, previous interaction, or participation with someone else gives you permission to touch or join. Everyone determines their own level of participation. Never pressure, persuade, guilt, or repeatedly ask someone after they decline.

  2. Privacy Is Sacred — What happens at the event stays at the event. Do not disclose the identities, attendance, activities, or personal information of other guests.

  3. No Photos or Recording Without Permission — Photography, video, livestreaming, or audio recording of another guest requires their explicit permission and is only allowed in designated areas. Phones are not allowed in public play areas.

  4. Respect Everyone — Harassment, intimidation, aggressive behavior, unwanted sexual comments, discrimination, body shaming, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

  5. Practice Safer Sex — Guests are responsible for their own sexual health and protection. Barriers and other safer-sex practices are strongly encouraged.

  6. Cleanliness Matters — Practice good personal hygiene and clean shared surfaces or equipment before and after use according to venue procedures.

  7. No closed doors — Play-room doors must stay open at all times. This is primarily due to safety concerns. Voyeurs are allowed throughout the public play areas.

  8. Hosts and Staff Have Final Authority — Follow instructions from hosts, security, and venue staff. They may intervene whenever necessary to protect guests or the event.

  9. Report Problems Immediately — If someone violates your boundaries, makes you uncomfortable, or you witness concerning behavior, contact a host or staff member immediately.

  10. No Solicitation or Commercial Activity — Do not sell services, solicit guests, distribute promotional materials, or conduct unauthorized business at the event.

Cancellation policy

If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, all pre-paid admissions will be refunded.
